Libraries across the country hold events for kids,
teens, adults, and families as part of their valuable
service to the local community. As part of that,
many rely on a variety of outside services or
performers,
paid for either by the city, or by grants given each
year. This helps bring people to the library to show
them what resources the library offers, and to get
more people into reading and learning.
Performers help the library by providing lower-
than-usual pricing for a (potentially) smaller and/or
shorter version of what they do - which can also be a
great way to promote larger services or events!
